One of the places that often was visited in the Mount Bromo region, East Java, was Pananjakan (2770 dpl). Scenery from Pananjakan smoke appearance billowed from the Mount Bromo crater now at the back of the Se- Meru Mountain also issued the smoke. 
Mount Bromo was the tourist attraction that was very popular in East Java. The volcano that still was active this had the height 2,392 dpl.
